Burnt Butter Biscuits
Burnt Butter Biscuits are so very tasty and easy to make. Can be frozen then thawed or reheated.
125g caster sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
155g self raising flour
½ cup almonds
Melt butter in saucepan and allow it to become golden brown. Cool a little, add sugar and beat well. Add the egg and vanilla and beat again. Add flour and mix well.
Place a teaspoon size ball on a greased baking tray and allow room for spreading. Place an almond on each one. Bake for 10 minutes at 180C
