Chocolate Foundation Biscuits
Easy to make and so very tasty. Foundation biscuits have been around for a long time and it’s easy to see why. As well as a tasty biscuit, Foundation Biscuits make a fabulous base for a cheesecake or other desserts like icecream.
4 tablespoons icing sugar
115g flour, sifted
125g self raising flour, sifted
1 tablespoon cocoa, sift with flour
1 tablespoon chocolate chips
Cream butter and sugar, add egg and blend until smooth. Add sifted flours, cocoa and chocolate chips. Mix to a smooth dough.
Roll dough thinly and cut to desired shape and size with a biscuit cutter.
Bake at 180C for 15 to 20 minutes
