Condensed Milk Icecream

 

I use pure cream from one of the smaller producers instead of the thickened ones. 

Ingredients

600ml cream

1 x 390ml tin sweetened condensed milk

1 tablespoons vanilla extract

Method

Whip cream and condensed milk with the vanilla extract on high speed until thick, about 3 or 4 minutes, or until you get a thick consistency. If you overmix the mixture can separate and become grainy. Spoon into trays and freeze. Keep ice cream sealed and it should last for a couple of weeks.

Try some variations.

Add some crumbled fruitcake before freezing.

Add crumbled biscuits

Add 1 tablespoon instant coffee dissolved in a tablespoon of boiling water

Try some added liqueur

Add 1 tablespoon cocoa dissolved in 1 tablespoon boiling water

Add some chocolate chips.
