Easy to make and so very tasty. Foundation biscuits have been around for a long time and it’s easy to see why. As well as a tasty biscuit, Foundation Biscuits make a fabulous base for a cheesecake or other desserts like icecream.
4 tablespoons icing sugar
125g flour, sifted
125g self raising flour, sifted
1 teaspoon vanilla
Cream butter and sugar, add egg and blend. Add sifted flours and vanilla. Mix to a smooth dough.
Roll dough thinly and cut to desired shape and size with a biscuit cutter
Bake at 180C for 15 to 20 minutes
