200g self raising flour
pinch of salt
1 teaspoon mixed spice
2 teaspoons butter
60g mixed nuts
½ cup milk
Sift flour, salt, and spice. Rub in butter. Add nuts and sugar. Add milk and mix into a dough.
Grease and line a loaf tin with baking paper. Bake for 40 minutes at 180C.
Test with a skewer. If skewer comes out clean, loaf is done.
