Thermomix Strawberry Jam
500 g Strawberries, washed, stems removed
350 g Sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla essence
juice of ½ a lemon
Place all the ingredients in Thermomix bowl and cook. 30 Min. 100°C Speed 1.
Then 40 Min. Temp. Varoma Speed 1. This step makes jam thicker. The time depends on how much watery you want your jam. It depends on your strawberries too, on how much water they release!
When jam is still hot, pour it into sterilized glass jars and put them upside-down. When cold, place the jars in a cool place.
You can be creative with Jams. Pineapple and Apple makes good jam. Grape and Apple lemon. Granny Smith apple help the jam to set.
